When I set out to explore the national parks of the American west, I knew I had to bring paint with me, to capture what inspired me in medias res. While my primary medium is oil paint, I had to find a medium more conductive to travel and plein air painting. As such, I put together a watercolor traveling kit, and set off on my expedition.
